I finally realized what those extra dryer lint traps are for

Customer in Toledo kept calling about long dry times, they had the secondary lint trap filter that needs cleaning every 10 loads. Owner never knew it existed, manual was buried in a drawer. Anyone else find these hidden filters on late-model dryers regularly?
