Just realized my old multimeter was costing me time on every call
Swapped it for a Fluke 117 last month. Diagnosing a fridge board went from 15 minutes to maybe 3. Anyone else have a tool upgrade that felt like a cheat code?

Well, that's funny you mention Fluke. I bought one of their clamp meters a few years ago and it just sat in my truck. Then I dropped my old Amprobe off a ladder and had to use the Fluke. Turned out the Amprobe was reading about 15 volts low on everything. I had been chasing ghosts on furnace calls for months. Wasted a whole afternoon once on a tripped breaker I couldn't find because my meter said the wire was dead.
