Just realized that $40 for a proper torque screwdriver was the best money I ever spent after stripping a control board screw on a Samsung fridge.

Honestly, I used to think my regular driver was fine, but that one repair job showed me how easy it is to over-tighten those tiny screws and ruin a whole board.

How many times have I been right there with you? I used to fight with those little screws using a regular driver and it was such a pain. Getting the torque driver felt like a silly extra cost until it saved a project. It just takes one stripped screw to learn that lesson the hard way. Now I won't touch small electronics without it.

That lesson is learned exactly once, for sure.

My old laptop repair taught me that. I was putting the back panel on and felt that awful slip on a tiny screw. The head just rounded out. I had to drill it, which was a huge mess. That was the day I ordered a cheap torque driver set. Now I use it on everything from game controllers to thermostat covers. It feels like you have way more control.
