Pro tip: I visited an old appliance shop in Pittsburgh last week
I stopped by this place called Economy Appliance that's been around since the 60s. The owner still uses a manual parts catalog from 1987, no computer in sight. It got me thinking about how much we rely on our phones and tablets now for part numbers and wiring diagrams. Does anyone else miss those big paper binders or am I just being nostalgic about something that was actually a pain?

Wait, a manual parts catalog from 1987? That's wild. I can't believe someone is still using those giant binders.

Respectfully, I see it a bit differently. Those old paper binders were slow and heavy, and you had to flip through page after page just to find one part number. They worked fine if you had the right book, but a quick search on a tablet saves a lot of time and shelf space.
