That ice maker on a Samsung at a lake house in Michigan flooded the whole kitchen
I was in Traverse City fixing a fridge that was only 14 months old, and the ice maker line had a pinhole leak that sprayed water behind the cabinet for weeks, so I had to rip out the floorboards and charge the customer $600 for the repair plus dry-out, anyone else dealing with these new plastic water lines failing way too soon?

Plastic lines have been standard for years now, I swapped out an ice maker on a fridge last year and the original line was still fine after 8 years. The problem is usually how the line was installed, people pinch them behind the fridge or kink them when they push it back. A pinhole leak in 14 months sounds like a defect, but that's on Samsung not the material. I'd bet the lake house had hard water or the line wasn't secured right.

Cole, do you think the pinching/kinking issue is more common with Samsung specifically cause their back panel design leaves no slack room, or is this just people cramming fridges into too-tight spaces everywhere?
