Blew $400 on a useless LinkedIn ad campaign in under 48 hours
I thought I'd give LinkedIn's sponsored content a shot to promote a free ebook we put together about supply chain trends. Set a budget of $500 and after two days I had spent $400 and got maybe 12 clicks and zero conversions. The targeting options looked great in the setup but the actual delivery was just noise. Anyone else had better luck with LinkedIn ads or is it mostly a money pit for smaller businesses?

Bet your targeting was too narrow, that's where they burn cash.

Yeah but @margaret234, is narrow targeting really that bad? I've seen shops kill it with super tiny audiences cause their products were crazy specific. Maybe it's not the targeting but the offer or the creative that's burning cash.
