Client asked for a case study, but their data was a mess

I spent 3 hours last week cleaning up a client's CRM before I could even start writing their case study. They had 50+ leads marked as 'converted' but only 12 had actual purchase records. Anyone else dealing with clients who think their data is clean when it's clearly not?

Oh man, I had a client last month who swore their sales data was perfect but 30% of the contact emails bounced back during the review process. It's like they just assume because they entered it, it's automatically correct or something.

30% bounce means they weren't even checking before sending.
