Had to pick between HubSpot and a cheap CRM from a guy in Texas
I spent two weeks last month deciding between a $50/month CRM some dude in Austin built vs HubSpot's $450 starter plan. I went with the cheap one since our list is only 300 people, but now the automation keeps breaking and I'm losing leads. Anyone else regret saving money on a tool that just doesn't work right?

Oh man, that Texas CRM guy sounds like my whole situation last year. I picked a $35 tool from some guy in Colorado because it had this fancy "AI pipeline" thing and it kept emailing my customers at 3 AM with the wrong names. My lead list was only like 200 people but the system would randomly delete contacts from the database and I'd have to re-enter them by hand. Meanwhile my buddy uses HubSpot and his automation runs smooth even when his dog walks across the keyboard.

Started with a $29 CRM from some guy out of Arizona and it kept merging my contacts into one giant record that had like 20 different phone numbers all from different people. Had to call a lead twice in one day because the system just randomly dropped their info into the void. Meanwhile my buddy uses HubSpot and his automation runs smooth even when his dog walks across the keyboard. Honestly makes you wonder if these cheap tools are just some dude coding in his basement with no real testing lol.

Bought a $30 CRM from a guy in Florida and it crashed during our biggest sales day.
