PSA: Our lead form went from 5% to 22% conversion in a quarter
We had this super long form asking for everything but their shoe size, and our conversion rate was stuck at 5% for ages. I pushed to cut it down to just three fields, and after three months, we're seeing a 22% conversion rate. Has anyone else seen a big jump just from making forms less of a pain?

I used to be the guy who thought more fields meant better leads. Your numbers are hard to argue with, though. It seems like asking for less actually gets you more real people willing to sign up. I have to admit this makes me rethink our own contact form.
