Shoutout to a random comment on a LinkedIn post about cold email

I was reading a thread last week where someone said, 'Your email is about your product, not their problem.' That hit me hard. We just redid our main pitch for a software tool, and it was all features and speed. I'm going to try a new draft this week that starts with a question about their specific daily headache instead. Has anyone else tried flipping their copy like that and seen a better reply rate?

Absolutely, that switch doubled our open rate overnight.

What did you change in the subject line? We found adding a number or a specific time frame, like "24 hours," got way more clicks for us.
