The $600 trade show booth that barely fit in my Ford Escape

Had to haul our 10x10 display from Columbus to a Chicago expo last month. Rented a cargo van at first, $85 a day, but that on top of the booth rental was eating my budget. Found a used pop-up banner setup on Facebook Marketplace for $600 and figured it would collapse like my old one. Loaded it up in the Escape, no problem, and it survived the potholes on I-90. The display itself looked decent, though the zipper on the carry bag broke on day two. Anyone else tried downsizing their exhibit footprint to save on shipping and vehicle costs?

Ran a 10x10 out of a Prius for two years, banner stands plus a folding table fit fine once I ditched the heavy counter. Zipper fail is basically a rite of passage, grabbed some heavy duty tape and called it good.
