Watched a team spend 3 months on a lead gen campaign with zero target account list
They built a whole content plan around 'industry trends' and sent it to a generic email list. I asked who they were trying to reach and they said 'anyone in tech'. That's not how this works. You need to pick 50 companies you want to win, then make content that speaks to their specific problems. How do you even start building that target list without it feeling like a wild guess?
