Took the relocation bonus and downsized, now I'm torn on the whole thing
Moved from Austin to Spokane for a $12k payout and cheaper rent, but my social life went from packed weekends to nothing but my dog and a gym membership. Is it smarter to keep grinding in a boring city for the savings, or does the isolation cost more than the money's worth?

Savings mean nothing if you're miserable every weekend, so maybe give Spokane six months before bailing.
