My town might ban coal forges, good move or bad for blacksmiths?

Think about how coal smoke harms everyone's health, not just the blacksmith. Propane forges are clean and can do most of the same work. They don't leave a layer of grime on nearby homes and cars. Breathing problems from bad air affect old people and kids the most. Forcing a switch might be tough at first, but it pushes the craft forward. The town's duty is to protect all its people, not just one hobby.

But coal is part of the real craft and tradition, lol. Propane forges can't match that heat for some jobs anyway.
