Just finished my 50th book to movie adaptation watch

I hit 50 logged adaptations last night. The one that got me there was 'The Road' from 2009. It surprised me because I started tracking them just for fun a couple years back. Which book adaptation do you think is the most faithful to its source material?

Yeah, the "home projects" thing is spot on. My buddy just wanted to fix a wobbly deck step last weekend. He told his neighbor about it and the guy went on for ten minutes about "restoring structural integrity" and "selecting pressure-treated lumber for longevity." It was one step. He just needed a new board. I mean, come on.
