Rant: The Foundation adaptation was a $50 streaming blowup
I paid $50 for the whole season of Foundation on Apple TV and the show is basically a different story with the same character names. The books had this cold, epic scale about math and empire collapse, but the show turns it into a soap opera with explosions. Anyone else feel ripped off when they take the core idea but axe the actual plot?

TV shows are about emotion and spectacle, and the books were honestly boring and dry.
