The Fellowship of the Ring movie made me hate the book, then a stranger flipped me
A guy at my local library in Portland said the film cut the Bombadil stuff for pacing, not because it was unimportant, and now I see how a book can give you a feeling a movie just can't carry, so which adaptation made you change your mind about the source material?
