Watching the 2011 Jane Eyre after reading the book twice changed how I see Rochester
Last month I finally screened the 2011 version with Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender, and the way they capture his dry humor through small glances made me realize the novel's inner monologues actually translate better than I thought, has anyone else found a quiet movie moment that beat a whole chapter for you?
