A dude at REI told me my sleeping bag was way too big for me and it changed my whole setup
Last year I was lugging around this massive 0-degree mummy bag that weighed like 5 pounds. Some random guy at the REI in Denver pointed out I could save 2 pounds by just getting a quilt that fit my height. I swapped to a 20-degree quilt that only covers my torso and my pack weight dropped so much. Has anyone else switched from a full bag to a quilt and regretted it or loved it?

Saw a video from some UL guy who said quilts are just better for 3 season use. Tried it out last summer and never looked back. Burrito problem is real though, you gotta learn to sleep still.
