Bought a $13 headlamp on a whim at a Fred Meyer in Boise, and it outlasted my $70 one on 11 trips
I only grabbed it because my good lamp died at the trailhead and it was the cheapest one on the rack, but the dang thing is still kicking two seasons later. Am I the only one who thinks the budget stuff is quietly winning now, or did I just get stupid lucky with this one?

Cheapest one on the rack" and it's still going, meanwhile the $70 one is probably in a landfill telling stories.
