Hit 200 nights in my hammock setup last summer

I've been using a Grand Trunk ultralight hammock for the last 3 years, and I just realized I slept in it 200 times during the warmer months last year. That's way more than I expected, and it made me rethink how much I actually use lightweight gear versus heavy tents. The bug net was the real MVP for me, especially during June in the Smokies. Anyone else track their nights in a certain piece of gear and get surprised by the number?

I used to be a hardcore tent guy and thought hammocks were just for lounging around at camp. But after borrowing a friend's Grand Trunk for a weekend and not waking up with a sore back for the first time in years, I ended up buying my own that same week. The bug net is honestly what sealed the deal for me too, nothing ruins a night like fighting off mosquitoes at 2am.

hollym82 seriously, try a water resistant bug net, it helps with condensation way more than you'd think.
