My tent leaked after 3 dry trips - then I figured out the real problem

Lucky I tested it in the backyard last Saturday instead of the mountains because the seam tape peeled off after a gentle sprinkler session, has anyone else had this issue with newer polyester tents?

Same thing happened with my REI tent last year, really frustrating.

Yeah, did you end up getting a replacement or just dealing with it? That really sucks, I know how you feel. I've had that same feeling where you spend good money on something and it just lets you down. It makes you second guess the brand even if it was just one bad experience. I've been there with other gear too, and it's always a bummer when you expect something to hold up and it doesn't. Hopefully they made it right for you, but I get the frustration all the same.
