Switched from a foam pad to a cheap inflatable sleeping pad for car camping - night and day
After three miserable nights on a foam pad at Lake Tahoe where I woke up sore every morning, I grabbed a $30 inflatable from Walmart and slept like a baby the next trip out. Has anyone else found that even the basic inflatable pads beat the expensive foam ones for comfort?

Actually back sleeping is worse for soreness since it puts all your weight on your spine.
