Why does nobody talk about how loud cheap camping stoves are?
Last weekend I was out at Bald Mountain Lake and my buddy fired up this $20 stove he got off some random site. That thing sounded like a jet engine taking off. I could barely hear him talk from 3 feet away. Anybody else run into this problem with budget gear or am I just being picky?

Bro that exact same thing happened to me with my first cheap stove. Couldn't hear a thing my buddy was saying and every squirrel within a mile probably peaced out. It's wild how they skip putting any sort of muffler on those things just to save a buck.

Yeah you're right, I used to think cheap was fine but that changed my mind.
