I used to think those knee kickers with the extra wide head were just a gimmick.
For years, I stuck with my old standard one, figuring it did the job just fine. Then I got a job in a big old house in Savannah, with these long, narrow hallways and tight corners. My usual tool was a real pain to get a good stretch in those spots. The homeowner had a spare one of those wide head models in his garage from a past job and said to give it a go. I was shocked. That extra width gave me way more control on the first hit, especially near the walls. It cut down my time in those hallways by at least a third because I wasn't fighting to re-position it as much. Have any of you made a switch to a wider head, and did you notice a real difference on certain jobs?
