Noticed homeowners keep putting furniture back too fast after install

They always want to move their couches back in right away and it messes up the new carpet edges. I tell people to wait at least 4 hours but they never listen. Anyone else have this problem with customers ignoring drying time?

It's funny how people just refuse to read the instructions or listen to reason, especially when it comes to instant gratification. Same thing happens with fresh paint or driveways, everyone thinks their time is more valuable than the process. Guess we're all just wired to want things done yesterday, even if it means redoing it next month.

Wait at least 4 hours minimum, even overnight if you can. The glue needs time to set right or the seams will pop and you'll get wrinkles. People just don't get that rushing it costs them more in the long run. Tell them to go grab lunch or something, furniture will still be there when they get back.
