Seams splitting on me after installs, what gives?
I lay carpet in houses. The seams look tight when I finish. But they often come apart later. Like with that berber job last week. The seam opened up fast. How do you guys make seams last? I need some pointers.

Seam opened up fast? Typical, nothing holds up like it should.

Jade, that sounds frustrating but is it really a total failure? Nina's point about seam sealer is good, some gear just needs that extra step from the start. My old jacket did that once and a quick fix with the right stuff held for years. Maybe it's a prep thing, not just bad quality.
