Spotted a commercial carpet job in a Houston office tower with seams so tight they practically disappeared

I was in the Williams Tower lobby last week for a completely different reason and ended up staring at the carpet for a solid 5 minutes. Whoever did that install knew what they were doing. The seams were damn near invisible even under those bright lobby lights. Made me rethink my own seam rolling technique. Anyone else ever see a random install that made you want to step up your game?

The welder comparison is close but not quite right. Welders who blend their beads are hiding their work. Carpet seam work that disappears is showing you the install was done right from the start. Good prep and consistent power stretching make those invisible seams possible, not just careful finishing after the fact.
