That elderly lady in Toledo who insisted on Berber carpet changed my whole approach

I was installing carpet for this sweet old lady in Toledo last spring, maybe 80 years old. She kept telling me Berber was the only real carpet and everything else was fake junk. I tried to explain that nylon or triexta might be softer for her knees, but she just pointed at the Berber sample and said "that one". After I finished she had me stay for lemonade and told me stories about how her mom had the same carpet for 40 years. Has anyone else run into customers who just absolutely know what they want and won't budge?
