Update: Why I stopped using seam tape on commercial jobs
Glue holds up better under heavy traffic, despite what the manuals say.

We switched to glue years ago and haven't had a call back. It just handles the daily abuse way better.

After hearing how glue handles daily abuse better, my friend saw the same on a busy store floor. Like @kim_martin, they made the switch and it's held up great.

Huh, I always heard the opposite actually. Glue can get brittle over time, especially with big temperature swings. A good mortar with the right mix stays flexible and lasts way longer in my experience.
