Rant: sold my late dad's truck to a 'cash buyer' in Phoenix and the 3pm meetup turned into a 2 hour runaround
Guy showed up with $800 less than we agreed on and said his 'buddy with the rest' was stuck in traffic on I-10, so I walked, and now I'm wondering if asking for a photo of the cash before I drive anywhere is just the norm.
Did you at least get to keep the title or did he want that discounted too? I sold a lawnmower once and the guy tried to knock off $40 because "the grass was still wet when he tested it." Cash in hand before keys change hands is the only way I roll now.
