Two cash offers on my house had me stuck for days
During the sell-off of my dad's property in Tucson, I got two cash offers within 24 hours last month. One was from a local flipper offering $120,000 with a 10-day close, and the other from an out-of-state investor at $115,000 but no inspections needed. I chose the flipper because I needed the cash faster for funeral costs and estate fees. The closing went smooth, but later I found out the investor was willing to go higher if I had countered. Has anyone else had to pick between a quick cash deal and a better offer that took longer?

Always counter both offers next time, even the cash ones.

Used to just take the cash offer and walk away. This thread made me realize I was leaving money on the table. Gonna start countering everything now.
