My week with a broken Easy Bake Oven changed my mind about it
Honestly, I used to think the Easy Bake Oven was just a gimmicky toy that never cooked anything right. But last summer, my niece got one for her 8th birthday, and the bulb burned out on day two. I spent 4 days tracking down a replacement at 3 different stores before I found one at a hardware shop in Des Moines. When we finally baked those tiny brownies, they actually turned out decent, and she was so happy. It made me realize the whole experience, not just the food, is what makes it fun. Has anyone else had a surprisingly good comeback with a broken childhood toy?
