Appreciation post: My old Lincoln Logs versus my nephew's magnetic building set

The logs have a real weight and click that the plastic magnets just don't, and you can actually build something that feels solid. Anyone else's kids just not get the appeal of the classics?

Feel the same way about real wood. Plastic stuff just feels cheap and flimsy. Give me something with heft any day.
