Can we talk about those old plastic bead kits you iron together?
I dug mine out from my parents' garage and made a coaster, but the smell brought back so many memories! Anyone else find the fun is more in the nostalgia than the actual craft now?

Totally! I just found a tub of them last week. The smell hit me and I was instantly back in my grandma's kitchen.

That's wild. Those old tins are the best. My grandma always kept hers in the actual cookie jar though, not a tub. The metal tin made the shortbread taste different somehow.

Did you pull out the cookies and eat one, or did you just sit there sniffing the air for a minute? I swear the butter and sugar smell in those tins is stronger than the actual cookies. My grandma kept hers on top of the fridge, so we had to climb up on a stool to get to them, made the whole thing feel like a secret mission.
