Dropped $80 on a pogo stick that snapped on day three
I bought one of those pogo sticks from the mall kiosk last month thinking I'd relive fifth grade, but the spring gave out after maybe 30 jumps. The metal bracket just peeled apart and now it's sitting in my garage as a very expensive paperweight. Anyone else get burned by a nostalgic toy that couldn't hold up to adult weight?

I got one from a mall kiosk too a few years back, same exact problem except mine bent inward after like five jumps and almost sent me face first into the concrete. The metal they use is that cheap pot metal stuff, not even real steel. Honestly those things are built for like a 70 pound kid max, not a full grown adult trying to relive childhood.
