Found my old bag of K'nex in my parents basement yesterday
I was clearing out their storage unit and dug up a big tub of K'nex from when I was maybe 12 years old. Spent an hour building one of those roller coaster tracks and honestly it still works great and is kinda calming after a long day of work. Has anyone else gone back to an old building toy and found it surprisingly fun still?

My buddy Tim found his last month and built a giant ferris wheel in his living room.

Funny enough, @nancy824 mentioned her friend Tim building a ferris wheel, and that got me thinking about the weird part of K'nex nobody talks about. Your mileage may vary, but I've noticed the old ones actually have a different plastic feel compared to newer sets. The original connectors from the 90s especially had this slightly grippier texture that makes them hold together better. Mine have yellowed a bit but the roller coaster wheels still spin smooth as ever. Just a heads up if you start building bigger things, those old rod pieces can get brittle and snap if you force them too hard into a bent position.
