My childhood stomper car finally snapped in half during a race with my nephew

Pulled out my old orange stomper from 1992 last Saturday to race my nephew, and it broke clean in two right at the front axle after one good push. I had to laugh because I remembered winning three block championships with that thing back in the day. We ended up using duct tape and a popsicle stick to get it rolling again, and honestly it went faster lopsided. Has anyone else tried reviving a classic toy only to watch it fail in the funniest way possible?
