My grandma's old etch a sketch still has that magic 30 years later

I found my grandma's 1970s Etch A Sketch in her attic last Saturday and it still works perfectly. She used to draw little houses and trees for me when I was 5, and I tried making a simple star shape and it came out just as smooth. Has anyone else tried an old toy from a relative and had it still feel the same?

That's really nice you got to try it again and it still worked. There's something special about things that hold up that long.
