My old Lite-Brite sat in a closet for 20 years, then my niece asked for it and now I get it

I always thought Lite-Brite was boring compared to my Nintendo, but watching her spend 45 minutes pegging tiny plastic pieces into that black screen last Sunday made me realize the quiet focus and instant glow-up is the whole point, does anyone else rediscover a toy through a kid and totally flip their opinion?

Those plastic pegs lost under the couch are basically tiny landmines for bare feet.
