My old Nerf gun broke mid-battle with my nephew last Saturday
I pulled out my old Nerf Longshot from 2003 to have a nerf war with my 8 year old nephew. On the third shot, the priming handle snapped right off in my hand. The plastic just gave up after sitting in a box for 15 years. Has anyone had luck fixing these old guns with epoxy or should I just give up and buy a new one?

Man, I gotta disagree with the epoxy route here. @adams.henry, I've gone down that road before and it never held up for me. The plastic on those old Longshots gets super brittle over time, so epoxy just breaks loose again after a few shots. Your mileage may vary of course, but I'd say save yourself the frustration and just buy a new one. A fresh blaster will hit harder and last way longer than trying to fix something that's already given up the ghost.
