Question about my old Lego bin: do you sort by color or by shape?
I dug my childhood Lego bin out of my parents' garage in Toledo back in March, and I figured I would have it all sorted in one weekend. It actually took me 22 hours spread over three weekends because I started by color and then realized I couldn't find any small pieces. Some people say color sorting is useless since you can't spot a 1x2 in a sea of blue, but others swear it looks nicer on the shelf. I switched to sorting by shape and my build time dropped in half. Which way do you all do it, and did you ever time how long your sort took?
