Recovered my old Game Boy Color after 15 years and the screen is completely yellowed out
Found it in a box at my mom's house in Spokane last weekend. Pokemon Yellow still inside. But the screen has this weird yellow tint now, like someone put a coffee stain on it. I looked up how to fix it and apparently it's common with older LCDs. Tried leaving it in the sun for a few hours like some forum said and it barely helped. Anybody tried the retrobright method on a Game Boy screen or is it better to just replace the whole shell?

Man I had the same issue with my old GBC last year. I ended up just buying a replacement shell off eBay for like 15 bucks and it looks brand new now.
