That week I dug out my old LEGO castle set from 1988 and my 6 year old nephew actually spent 3 hours building it with me instead of staring at a tablet

I dragged that dusty box from my parents' attic last Saturday and we built the whole thing on my kitchen table, but what really got me was how he figured out a way to mod the drawbridge using spare bricks I'd forgotten about, has anyone else had a kid totally surprise them with their creativity using old toys?
