The bin of my old toys sat in my mom's garage in Fresno for 15 years, and I finally opened it
I mean, I don't want to scare anyone but check your old toys for battery corrosion before you get too excited. I opened my bin from Fresno last Saturday and my favorite RC truck from 2004 had leaked all over a box of action figures, ruined the whole bottom layer. The stuff on top was fine, my old Lego sets and a Rubik's cube still work, but I lost like $80 worth of figures to that mess. Maybe it's just me but nobody warns you that the batteries leak even if you took them out, something about humidity. Has anyone else opened a box after years and found the same thing?
