A conversation with my uncle about his truck really stuck with me...

We were at a family cookout in Cincinnati last summer, and he was showing off his new diesel pickup. I asked if he ever thought about an electric truck, and he just laughed and said, 'This thing will outlive me, and your climate stuff is a city problem.' It wasn't mean, just... dismissive. It's stuck with me because he's a good guy, but we see the world so differently now. Has anyone else had a talk like that with family who just doesn't see the issue?
