I hit one full year without buying any single-use plastic items and even I was surprised how easy it got after month three.
Started tracking my plastic waste on a whim in April last year after seeing a documentary, and now I am at 365 days with only a handful of unavoidable exceptions like medicine bottles, so has anyone else found that most of our plastic excuses are just habits we never questioned?

Ngl that third month hump is real, once you break the habit it's dead simple.

Wait which habit are we actually talking about here? Because that third month hump hits different depending on what you're trying to break. For me it was always around week 12 when I'd start feeling like I was just going through the motions instead of making real progress. But once you figure out how to push through that specific wall, it really does become automatic after that. What was the thing you had going at the three month mark that finally clicked for you?
