Just found out my local library loans out energy meters for free

I was at the library last week picking up a book for my kid and saw a display table in the back. They have these kill-a-watt devices you can check out for a week. I grabbed one and tested my old fridge - it's pulling almost double what a new one would. The librarian said they started this program two years ago and it's helped people cut their electric bills by around 10 percent. Has anyone else seen these at their library?

Grabbed one last month from my library too. Tested my old window AC unit and it was using way more power than I thought. Swapped it out for a newer model and my bill dropped about 15 bucks that month. Little gadgets make a big difference if you got old appliances.
