Just read that rewilding beavers in the UK saved millions in flood damage
I was reading a study from the University of Exeter and they found that beaver dams in Devon reduced flooding by up to 60% in some areas. That's like free infrastructure work from animals lol. Has anyone here actually volunteered with a beaver reintroduction project?

That saved millions in flood damage" really puts it in perspective. In my experience people overlook how much we rely on natural systems to handle stuff for us for free, you know? Like we spend all this money on concrete walls and pumps but a few beavers just do the job better.
