Rant: My electric bill was $22 this month, the lowest it's ever been.

I got serious about unplugging things and using a smart thermostat, and it cut my usage by almost half. Has anyone else seen a big drop from small changes like that?

That $22 could be a legit low monthly plan if it's just basic service with no extras. Some people get government help or special discounts that bring it down that low. I know folks who pay under $30 for internet or phone plans because they only got the bare minimum. It's not that crazy once you think about the numbers. Maybe they're on a prepaid or budget plan that just covers the basics.
